Cathy Woods

Cathy Woods, long-time Yoga Teacher, Retreat Leader and Avid Trail rider leads Body, Mind, Equine Retreats and Workshops around the country at ranches, resorts and equine centers. Cathy has been leading yoga programs to horse lovers and non- equestrians for nearly thirty years. Her Yoga & Equine programs teach the parallels of the two practices. Body, Mind, Equine is not about doing yoga on the back of a horse, but rather how to use yoga principles (not just yoga postures) to improve horsemanship from ground to saddle and become a more aware, conscious rider. In addition, Cathy teaches, “good stretches” for riders. Combining her passions of yoga, horsemanship and travel, her one of a kind program has reached national acclaim, featured in Forbes.com, Horscity.com, Equitrekking, Western Horse & Gun Magazine, Yoga Digest, and others. Much of what Cathy offers can be used on and off the yoga mat, in horsemanship and in all areas of life.
