Josh Peebles started working with horses at the early age of 14 when he began an apprenticeship with a local trainer. When Josh was 21 he started training horses on his own for the general public. Josh Peebles prides himself in being an all-around horseman; which was the conception behind the naming of his business “All Purpose Horsemanship”. Josh has restarted off the track Thoroughbreds (OTTB), started hundreds of colts, and worked on a variety of dangerous and problem horses. Josh has also taught a variety of clinics such as colt starting, problem solving, ranch roping, & mounted shooting. Josh believes that the best start a horse can get is to work the horse’s mind first and foremost; which is the basis for a solid foundation with any equine.
Josh won the 2016 Southern Equine Expo Colt Starting Challenge and returns as a judge this year.
